Scope and Service Availability
These Terms of Service govern your use of the BeAnon website and, upon launch, the BeAnon application provided by RR AI Labs Pvt. Ltd., India. They should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines and Delete your data guidance. Acceptance of these Terms and the Community Guidelines is required before posting or transmitting content within the application.
Service availability. BeAnon is preparing for launch. The provisions relating to the application describe the service intended to be provided at launch. Features and availability may differ by platform. Verified download links will be published on this website.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, possess the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and be permitted to use the service in your jurisdiction. BeAnon is not intended for children. Misrepresentation of age, use of another person’s account and circumvention of age restrictions are prohibited. Access may be restricted where eligibility cannot be established.
Account Administration and Recovery
The planned default account process uses a pseudonymous application or device-linked identifier. You must keep your device secure. If access is lost, an available recovery method, such as a previously linked Google account, may enable you to regain access to the same account, subject to successful verification of ownership. Recovery is not guaranteed; its availability and reliability remain under verification before launch. Successful recovery provides access to conversations, messages and media that remain retained for the account. It does not restore permanently deleted accounts, messages deleted for both participants, deleted or consumed view-once media, or revoked shared media from ended anonymous chats. Unsent messages and drafts stored only on the device are not recovered.
Ending an anonymous chat stops messaging and access to shared media. Where the ended conversation remains in your list, saved text is available in read-only form for reporting purposes. Removing a conversation hides it from your list and does not report the other participant. These actions are distinct from blocking, reporting and deleting an individual message. Copies retained by another person outside BeAnon are beyond our control. Limited records may be preserved where required by a legal or safety obligation.
User Content and Privacy Limitations
You retain ownership of your content and must hold the rights necessary to share it. You grant BeAnon a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, display to intended recipients, store and review that content solely for the provision of the service, the management of safety concerns and compliance with legal obligations. This licence terminates upon deletion of the content, except to the extent necessary for records lawfully retained.
Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Content may be processed for delivery, continuity and safety, and disclosed where lawfully required. Anonymity does not exempt any person from responsibility for unlawful conduct. Selfie filters, disappearing views and screenshot controls should not be relied upon to prevent identification or copying; facial concealment provided by filters is partial.
Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
Use BeAnon for respectful, non-sexual conversations. The prohibited-content rules form part of these Terms. Harassment, hate, nudity, pornography, sexually explicit text or media, solicitation, grooming, exploitation, scams, doxxing, impersonation, harmful deepfakes, infringement of rights and unlawful activity are prohibited. Consent between adults does not override these restrictions.
You must not circumvent bans, interfere with safety tools, introduce malware, scrape users or employ unauthorised automation. Unlawful content may give rise to legal consequences. Offences subject to mandatory reporting will be referred to the appropriate authority.
Safety, Enforcement and Appeals
Android test builds include reporting functionality and blocking within friend chats. Moderation and launch readiness remain under verification. BeAnon may remove content or restrict access in response to rule violations, safety concerns, fraud or legal obligations. Where safe and lawful, we will provide notice, reasons and an opportunity to appeal. Urgent protective measures may be taken before notice is given. Detection of every violation cannot be guaranteed.
Complaints and appeals may be submitted to grievance@beanon.app in accordance with the grievance process. A ban does not extinguish applicable privacy rights. Paid membership does not confer exemption from enforcement.
Purchases, Subscriptions and Refunds
Paid application features are not available through this website. If such features are introduced, the total price, billing period, trial conditions, renewal terms and included features will be disclosed before you confirm a purchase. Payments are processed through the applicable authorised store billing system.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the relevant store before its stated renewal deadline. Cancellation and refund requests should be managed through Apple or Google, as applicable; BeAnon support will assist with service and entitlement issues. Uninstalling the application or deleting an account does not necessarily cancel a store subscription. Cancellation, refunds and price adjustments remain subject to store rules and applicable consumer law. These Terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of refunds.
Discontinuation and Account Deletion
You may discontinue use of BeAnon and request deletion of your account and associated data within the application. Deletion requests are not accepted by email. In Android test builds, a request initiates a 14-day pending period during which normal account use is unavailable. To retain the account, you must return before the deadline, verify ownership and expressly select “Cancel account deletion.” Opening the application, signing in, recovering access or contacting support does not cancel the request. If the request is not cancelled, the account and its chat history are permanently deleted and cannot be restored, recovered or reactivated, including by support. Limited records may be retained solely for specific legal, security or financial obligations; they cannot be used to restore the account and do not affect your statutory data rights. Uninstalling the application, logging out and cancelling a store subscription are separate actions. An active subscription should be cancelled through the relevant store. Account deletion may be requested regardless of whether a subscription remains active.
Intellectual Property Rights
BeAnon’s branding, code and original designs are the property of RR AI Labs Pvt. Ltd. or its licensors. We grant a limited licence to use the released application for personal purposes. Protected material must not be copied, distributed or otherwise exploited without permission, except as permitted by law. This provision does not restrict your rights in your own content.
Service Limitations and Liability
The service may be interrupted or modified, and statements made by other users may be inaccurate. BeAnon is neither an emergency service nor a source of professional advice. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis, without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, responsibility for our own unlawful conduct, or mandatory consumer and data-protection rights. Any permissible limitation remains subject to those rights. These Terms do not transfer all responsibility for platform safety or security to users.
Governing Law and Available Remedies
These Terms are governed by Indian law, subject to mandatory protections applicable in your jurisdiction. Disputes may be submitted to a court or authority having lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms restricts access to consumer commissions, statutory grievance remedies or other competent authorities.
Amendments to these Terms
Material amendments will be explained before they take effect, except where urgent legal or safety requirements necessitate earlier action. Renewed agreement will be sought where required. Consent to privacy-related processing must be obtained separately where required. We will issue periodic reminders of our rules in accordance with applicable Indian intermediary rules.
